Firstly,as the young generation grow up and live in a time when there is much more abundant materials,they take for granted their high living standard and become less sensitive to any improvement in this regard.On the other hand,their spiritual need cannot satisfy due to the loss of traditional values.They strive for fame and profit and suffer from high stress every day,but get disoriented in a fast-changing world and have no idea about the ultimate goal of their lives. In addition,as many young people were spoilt by their parents in their childhood,they become self-centered,inconsiderate and apathetic.All they care about is no more than their personal interests and feelings,instead of having a charitable heart for giving and helping others.Therefore,love and care,the key elements connecting people together emotionally,are fading.Therefore,young people gradually become indifferent from their friends and families,which then trapping them into negative emotions like loneliness,depression and anxiety. The question is,are they sure their heart loaded with love will bring good to their children? Lets look at the real situation of the second-rich generation.Some of them,rather than becoming the second-strong generation,becomes the defeated generation which is notorious for their life focused on consumption rather than creation. Because of the changes of education in history,most Chinese parents,though successfully accumulate wealth,dont know much about the right value they should pass on to the new generation.They have tried all that they can to be good parents while neglecting the core value they should address,which is INDEPENDENCE. How should parents help children to be independent? As far as I am concerned,I believe that students should not make the donation merely in order to obtain rewards.Yet,institutions ought to devise some incentives to promote blood donation. To begin with,the act in question is to help or even save the lives of people in need.In view of the notion that prize and punishment should be meted out accordingly,donors should be rewarded for their selflessness.Second,the implementation of various incentives also serves to encourage students to donate blood.As the saying goes,"One good turn deserves another." Even if donors do demand some repayment,it is utterly justified.Meanwhile,the establishment of the incentive policy also reinforces an advantageous societal system where good deeds are encouraged.Nevertheless,the foregoing points do not justify able-bodied students eschewing blood donation if no rewards are offered.Otherwise,our world would be replete with mercenary individuals; and no society can survive let alone thrive when it is corrupted with selfishness. The following reasons can support this argument.Firstly,sometimes our goal may be unrealistic.If we insist on it blindly,it will finally bring us nothing but failure.At this time,what we should do is give up the orignal goal and reset a more pratical one.Secondly,not all persistence can bring deserving results. For a very simple example if we keep waiting in line for hours,only to have a luncheon restaurant may be it is unwise.Finally,to give up wisely does not mean admitting failure.Instead,it does mean a new hope of success.Considering the above mentioned,we can come to the conclusion that to give up wisely is a kind of more mature life attitude. Those who hold the former opinion insist that the appearence of e-mail makes communication quicker and more convenient.By e-mail people can deliver more information including pictures and sounds.However,some others think e-mail with the same format and printfont includes less emotion,then traditional letters written by hand.Most people use e-mails to deliver information instead of feelings.From my point of view,e-mail does bring great convenience for people,but it is not a better way to express our feelings than traditional letters.
